Oh, Chase

We have moved into a rental house until our new home is built. We have moved all of our stuff...we have slept there for three nights already and when we pulled into the garge on the fourth night, Chase said, "Oh, are we sleeping here again?"

Chase: Mom, can I have a string cheese?

Me: Sure, go get it and bring it to me and I'll open it for you.

Chase: I call no throwing away the wrapper!

Me: I call you have to throw away the wrapper or else you don't get to eat one.

Chase: Awe man! I should've called no battles!!!

The Hard Life of A Four Year Old

Chase did not want to eat his dinner tonight. He jumped off his chair leaving his full plate behind and I, of course, was not going to let that happen. This is how our conversation went down:

Me: Chase, do not go outside without eating your dinner or you will go to bed.

Chase: Never!

Me: I mean it Chase, you are going to have to go to bed if you don't eat your dinner.

Chase: (As he slams the door shut and walks to the counter dramatically) My life is so hard!!!!
